These reservoirs were discovered in Chandavel 5, where, during preliminary tests and analyzes, it was found that the new reservoir would generate 76 barrels of oil and 512,000 cubic feet of gas per day.

This is the first discovery in the Virgil Formation at Chanda Oilfield. According to the Oil and Gas Development Company, the well has been dug up to 5440 meters deep. About three dozen reserves of natural gas and oil have been discovered earlier in the Malammal Kohat Division.
