LHC Justice Aminuddin Khan elevated as Judge of Supreme Court of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD - Lahore High Court Justice Aminuddin Khan has been elevated as Judge of Supreme Court of Pakistan, private media has reported.

Justice Aminuddin Khan of the Lahore High Court has been recommended to be made judge of the Supreme Court at a meeting of the Judicial Commission chaired by Chief Justice of Pakistan Asif Saeed Khosa.

According to details, the Judicial Commission meeting was chaired by the Chief Justice of Pakistan. The meeting was attended by members of the Judicial Commission. The meeting was attended by senior Supreme Court Justice Justice Gulzar Ahmed, Federal Minister for Law and Attorney General Mansoor Ahmed.

In the meeting, Justice Aminuddin Khan of Lahore High Court was recommended to be made a judge of the Supreme Court. Justice Aminuddin Khan is from Multan. He was appointed Judge High Court on May 12, 2011. Justice Aminuddin Khan is currently fifth on the Lahore High Court judges' list.
