'Jihad in Kashmir': US State Department strongly responds over Pakistani PM Imran Khan statement

NEW YORK – 'United States State Department has strongly responded over Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan statement over issue of 'Jihad in Kashmir'.
Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan had made statement during his Muzaffarabad Rally that anyone from Pakistan who crosses Line of Control for Jihad in Kashmir would be enemy of Pakistan and Kahsmir and will not be doing any favour to both.
US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia Alice G Wells has lauded Prime Minister Imran Khan’s remarks that anyone from Pakistan who would carry out violence in Kashmir are enemies of both Kashmiris and Pakistan.
In a tweet, she said the United States (US) is acknowledging Pakistan’s sustained commitment to counter all terrorist groups and is critical to regional stability, the Radio Pakistan reported.
