-Nawaz, Maryam names on ECL: Federal government makes important decision

ISLAMABAD - Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry has spoken over the issue of names of Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz removal from ECL.
“The names of Nawaz and [his daughter] Maryam Nawaz will not be removed from the Exit Control List,” he said at a press briefing on Thursday.
He said this applied to people such as former finance minister Ishaq Dar and Nawaz Sharif’s sons, Hassan and Hussain. “There will be no deal over this.”
PM Imran Khan or the PTI don’t have a personal beef with Nawaz and Maryam. “We are custodian of the Pakistan’s treasury,” he said.
He remarked that the wealth “looted” by former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and other people should be brought back.
