CJP Justice Saqib Nisar takes yet another initiative for Diamer Bhasha Dam fund

ISLAMABAD - Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar has taken a new initiative for the Diamer Bhasha Dam fund.

CJP will leave for a private trip to Britain on Tuesday (today) in order to raise donations for the construction of Diamer Bhasha and Mohmand Dams.

According to details, the chief justice will attend fund-raising ceremonies in London, Birmingham and Manchester respectively, during his week-long trip.

A dinner is also being organised by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) member and Prime Minister Imran Khan’s close friend Aneel Musarrat in honor of the top judge.

UK Pakistan Chamber of Commerce & Industries will also host a fund-raising event during the CJP’s visit.

Fund raising campaign for the Supreme Court of Pakistan and Prime Minister of Pakistan Diamer-Bhasha and Mohmand Dams Fund is in progress at a rapid pace.

According to the Supreme Court of Pakistan, over 7.839 billion rupees have been collected through donations by various individuals and organisations and expatriate Pakistanis so far.
