Bomb blast in Indian Police station kill, injure 5 policemen
RANCHI: Two Indian policemen were killed and three others were injured after a bomb went off inside a police station in Jharkhand's Giridih district today, police said.

Some members of the bomb disposal squad were defusing explosives seized by the police six months ago and stored at a room in Saria police station, when one of the bombs detonated, a police officer said.

The blast was so powerful that it broke the windowpanes of houses near the police station.
The policemen who died in the accidental blast have been identified as Mohamad Asraf Qureshi and Mahendra Turi.
