PSL playoff: Which team will get walk over if match is terminated due rain in Lahore

LAHORE - Rains could delay the first Pakistan Super League Eliminator 1 at the Gadaffi Stadium in Lahore on Tuesday but a washout could benefit Peshawar Zalmi.

Zalmi are scheduled to meet Quetta Gladiators in a repeat of last year's title clash, which Peshawar had won.

For today's match, weather forecast is for continuous rains. However, Zalmi will go through to the second Eliminator against the Karachi Kings on March 25 in case the match is washed out due to rains.

According to the tournament rules, the team with a better position in the final standings at the end of the round robin league will advance.

When the teams arrived at the Gadaffi Stadium, they were greted by rains and local Met office has forecast more rains in the evening.

The Zalmis are upbeat after two back-to-back wins that propelled them to third position on the league table.

The Zalmis are also better placed than the other PSL teams as they are at full strength for the playoffs, including their first-choice foreign players.
