PPP top leadership expresses concern over sending Musharraf abroad

KARACHI: Pakistan People Party top leadership expressed their concern over sending Musharraf abroad saying that former president has become a thorn in the flesh for government so government wanted to get rid of him to avoid embarrassment.

 

As per details, Party's top leadership meeting was held under the chairmanship of Bilawal Bhutto in Bilawal House here at Sunday. Opposition leader Syed Khurshid Shah, Sindh CM Qaim Ali Shah, Sindh Assembly Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani, Nisar Khoro and Moula Bakhsh Chandiyo  participated in the meeting.

 

The participants of the meeting exchanged views over the current political situation of the country. The participants of the meeting expressed their concern over the decision of government to allow Musharraf leave abroad.

 

It has been decided in the meeting that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto will visit Tharparkar on March 24 to participate in Hindu festival Dewali while he will also address gathering on April 4 on the death anniversary of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.
