UAE’s Princess strongly criticizes Islamophobia in India

ISLAMABAD-Emirati Princess, Sheikha Hend bint Faisal al-Qasimi has strongly criticized Islamophobic tendencies in India and expressed solidarity and sympathies with Indian Muslims and Kashmiris.
In a media interview, the princess recalled a hate tweet by an Indian citizen living in United Arab Emirates.
She said some Indians who adhere to radical Hindu ideology "Hindutva" have shown disrespect and indulged in hate remarks on social media.
Expressing surprise about silence of world on the issue, al-Qasimi also raised forced lockdown in occupied Kashmir after India revoked special status of territory in August last year.
She said India being a member of United Nations should comply with human rights laws.
