SC orders Sindh govt to pay compensation to heirs of lawyers

ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court has ordered Sindh government to pay compensation to the heirs of lawyers who has fallen victim of target killing.
Three-member bench of Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Mian Saqib Nisar was hearing a case related to compensation to heirs of lawyers who has fallen victim of target killing at its Karachi Registry on Tuesday.
Advocate General Sindh informed the court that total 54 lawyers were targeted and killed in the province particularly in Karachi and compensation has been paid to heirs of 46 lawyers so far.
