JRL calls for complete shutdown in IOK on Wednesday

SRINAGAR: In Occupied Kashmir, the Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) has called for a complete shutdown on Wednesday against the continued killings in the valley.

The leadership in a joint statement issued in Srinagar said that the territory had witnessed a sudden spike since the Eid day as three young boys were brutally martyred by the Indian forces while an injured was struggling for life at a hospital in Srinagar.

The statement said that siege and search operations had made the lives of people miserable all across the occupied territory.

The strike will also be observed against the brutal killing of senior journalist Shujaat Bukhari. The JRL has also demanded an international probe into his gruesome murder.

Meanwhile, in occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two more youth in Pulwama district, today (Tuesday).

The Indian troops martyred the youth during a siege and search operation in Tral area of the district. Troops also blasted a residential house in the area.

Also, massive clashes are going on in the area after the killings. Locals reported that forces used civilians as human shields during the clashes and tortured them.
