PML-N MPA disqualified over fake degree charges

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Member Provincial Assembly has been disqualified by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) over charges of fake education degree.
A five-member commission of the electoral body headed by the chief election commissioner disqualified Raja Shaukat Aziz Bhatti.
The PML-N MPA was elected from PP-4 constituency of Gujjar Khan.
The announcement of disqualification came two years after Iftikhar Kayani, a Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) candidate from the same constituency, had filed a complaint with the ECP against the ruling party’s lawmaker.
