NEPRA reduces electricity charges for monthly bill of June

ISLAMABAD – Federal government has announced Eid gift for the consumers by reducing the electricity charges.
National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has Tuesday approved the recommendation of reducing electricity prices by Rs1.90 per unit, and made the upcoming occasion of Eid for the people more joyous.
NEPRA was informed that the production cost of electricity remained Rs54 billion for the month of May, and the fall in amount was due to the decrease in oil and gas prices in the international market.
The relief to the consumers will be given in the electricity bills for the month of June. Furthermore, the decision will not implement on the users of K-Electric and life line.
