Unique alliance: PPP supports PML-Zia in Bahawalnagar

ISLAMABAD: A unique election alliance has surfaced in Punjab’s Bahawalnagar district where the Pakistan Peoples Party has announced to support Pakistan Muslim League-Zia, reported.
“We have decided that our party will support PML-Z candidate Ijaz-ul-Haq in NA-169,” said PPP’s Umar Draz Wattoo at a press conference in Bahawalnagar.
“Our workers will vote for Ijaz-ul-Haq since there is no PPP candidate in the constituency,” he justified.
Ijaz-ul-Haq is the son of former military dictator Zia-ul-Haq.APP
