Shahbaz Sharif gets a snub from caretaker Punjab government

LAHORE - Punjab Provincial law minister Zia Haider Rizvi has hit out against Shahbaz Sharif over his baseless allegations and has said that the administration is adhering to law and ECP’s code of conduct.
Rizvi said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president should refrain from levelling allegations against the interim government in Punjab.
“The reality is completely different from what Shehbaz Sharif claims. We are being provoked into revealing things.... but we won’t.”
“All parties are equal and we’re looking into the situation under the rule of law. It is not our mandate to level allegations or they’ll complain,” he added.
Denying the alleged maltreatment of Nawaz Sharif in Adiala jail, the interim law minister said the former prime minister is being provided facilities as per his privileges.
