Pakistan Iran agree to remove differences

Pakistan and Iran have agreed to strengthen cooperation to tackle the challenges posed by miscreants. 

The agreement reached during the first session of Pakistan-Iran Higher Border Commission in Tehran.

Pakistan delegation was led by Director General (Afghanistan, Iran and Turkey), Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mansoor Ahmad Khan while the Iranian delegation was led by Director General, International Legal Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Hossein Azar Panahi.

The two sides held constructive discussions for effective implementation of existing border mechanisms within the framework of Agreement for Administration of Pakistan-Iran border of 1960.

They agreed on the need to prevent border violations.
