Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid has a free gift for the Pakistanis

Islamabad: Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad announced on Wednesday that first passport will be issued to national without taking any fee.

He stated this during a visit of Islamabad International Airport. The interior minister said that 100,000 passports will be issued each day.

He said that Pakistan has announced online visa facility for 192 countries, adding that Prime Minister Imran Khan wanted no hindrances in the online visa facility.

Sheikh Rashid said that passport validation period for labourers has been increased to ten years, adding that e-passport service will be launched in two months.

He said that overseas Pakistanis are country’s asset, adding that overseas Pakistanis will be provided all facilities.

During the visit, the minister directed FIA’s Immigration, ASF and Customs to facilitate passengers at the airport.
