Release of all Kashmiri political detainees demanded: JKNF
In occupied Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir National Front has urged the Indian authorities to release all illegally detained Kashmiri Hurriyat leaders and activists lodged in different prisons of India and the territory.
A JKNF spokesman in a statement in Srinagar said, all the accusations against the resistance leaders are politically motivated and they have been detained for their political beliefs.
Meanwhile, the Indian authorities have heightened the so-called security in Srinagar and other areas of the territory ahead of India’s Republic Day, the 26th January, causing immense inconvenience to the people.
In Srinagar, almost a week ahead of the January 26 main function, the Indian police announced that the road stretch leading to the venue of main function has been closed for the general traffic.
