JKML condemns ill-treatment of Kashmiri detainees

In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League has strongly condemned the ill-treatment meted out to the Kashmiri political detainees saying that they are subjected to mental and physical torture.

The JKML Acting Chairman, Abdul Ahad Parra, in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Hurriyat leaders, Feroz Ahmed Khan, Mufti Nadeem and Mushtaq Ahmed Hurra lodged in a jail in Haryana, India, were being treated like criminals.

Abdul Ahad Parra appealed to the world human rights organizations to put pressure on India to stop inhuman and undemocratic attitude and settle the lingering Kashmir dispute in accordance with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
