Indian troops launch massive operation in Srinagar

ISLAMABAD: In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops have launched a cordon and search operation in Srinagar.
Eyewitnesses said that the troops cordoned off Lal Chowk area of the city, erected barricades and started a search operation, KMS reported.

They said that the troops searched the nearby hotels and frisked commuters. “Forces’ personnel have taken positions on the roofs of high-rise buildings and drones have been pressed into services as well to search the area,” they added.
Meanwhile, one person was injured in a blast in Islamabad district, today. The blast occurred when unidentified persons lobbed a grenade on a patrolling party of Indian Central Reserve Police Force on busy KP road.
