18 security officials killed and injured in Suicide blast in Afghanistan, Governor and NDS Chief survive
KABUL - In Afghanistan, at least eight security personnel were killed and ten others injured in suicide bomb attack in Muhammad Agha district in Logar province today.
The provincial police spokesman said the suicide bomber detonated an explosives-packed car close to the governor’s convoy on a highway between Logar and Kabul.
He said the provincial chief of the Afghan intelligence agency NDS who was also travelling in the convoy remained unhurt in the attack.
The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack
