KARACHI: The inquiry committee over the Naqeebullah encounter has finalised its report and sent it to the Sindh Governmnet.
The committee formed to probe alleged extrajudicial killing of Naseemullah alias Naqeebullah has made startling revelations about the brutal encounter.
Inquiry recommended suspension of SSP Rao Anwar from his post and arresting him.
Sources said the three-member inquiry committee has forwarded its report to the Sindh government.
The probe body in its report recommended registration of a case against Anwar and other personnel involved in the suspected police encounter, sources informed Geo News.
The committee also recommended placement of Rao Anwar's name on the Exit Control List (ECL), they added.
