ECP strongly reacts over the missing presiding officers of NA 75

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) stated on Saturday that results of NA-75 by-elections were unnecessarily delayed.
It mentioned in a statement that returning officer fears changing in results of 20 polling stations. It added that the Chief Election Commissioner tried to contact IGP Punjab, Commissioner, and
Deputy Commissioner to know details about missing presiding officers but they did not respond.
On the contrary, Chief Secretary at 3 is assured that lost officials and polling bags will be traced. Presiding officers resurface along with poling bags at 6 am.
ECP also mentioned that it is not possible to release unofficial results without full inquiry into the matter. But, the district returning officer and returning officer are sending a report to the commission and provincial election commissioner. According to ECP, joint provincial election commissioners have been asked to reach the office of the returning officers.
