Viv Richard likely to be made Pakistan T20 Cricket team coach

ISLAMABAD: Viv Richard is likely to be appointed Pakistan T20 Cricket team coach as Pakistan Cricket Board PCB has started talks with legend West Indian cricketer in this regard.
As per details, PCB official said that Mushtaq Ahmad will be limited to National Cricket Academy and Azhar Mahmood will be given responsibility of bowling coach. Head Coach Waqar Younis agreement will not be extended due to his poor performance while the announcement of appointment of Azhar and Viv Richard will be made soon after finalizing the matters.
PCB officials claimed that Grant Flower had been given responsibility of coach with high expectation by PCB but the performance of Pakistan Cricket team could not improve under his coaching tenure.
On the other hand, Viv Richard has put the Quetta Gladiators on the path of success and his team succeeded to be placed in the final of PSL. Quetta Gladiators won 6 matches out of 8 in league round and secured top position after defeating Peshawar Zalmi.
Viv Richard played very important role in the success of Quetta team. By keeping in view his performance, PCB decided to give the responsibility of coach to Viv Richard.
Richard also had expressed his desire to work with Pakistan cricket team saying that if he is offered to become coach of Pakistani team then he would not reject it.
