Google adds Pashto and Sindhi languages in Google Translate programme

WASHINGTON: Google adds 13 more languages including Pashto (Afghanistan) and Sindhi (Pakistan) in Google Translate option.

 

Google Translate Senior Program Manager Sveta Kelman said “With over 26 million Sindhi speaking citizens around the world, introducing Sindhi to Google Translate will help the new generation of Sindhis enrich their knowledge about their community.”

 

He claimed that it will be helpful for tourists who visit South Asia.

 

The introduction of 13 languages brings the total number of Google Translate languages to just over 100.

 

Company claimed that this effort will help 120 million new people.
