Hamza Shahbaz Sharif faces another blow from the Accountability court

ISLAMABAD - Hamza Shahbaz Sharif faces another blow from the Accountability court.Accountability court on Friday extended judicial remand of Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz in a case pertaining to Money Laundering till January 3, GNN reported.

According to details, due to current law and order situation, Hamza Shehbaz was not produced before the court.

The court was informed that the suspect could not be produced before due to the lawyers’ strike and security issues.

The court then extended the judicial remand of Hamza Shahbaz till January 3.

On the other hand, the court extended the judicial remand of Nawaz Sharif’s nephew and managing director at Sharif Group of Industries Yousaf Abbas in Chaudhry Sugar Mills case for 14 days

The court has granted exemption to former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz from attendance in this case.

It is pertinent to remember that NAB arrested Hamza Shehbaz in Assets Beyond Means and Money Laundering case on June 11.
