Pakistan Army in service Major sentenced to life imprisonment by Army Chief

Rawalpindi: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Tuesday has confirmed life sentence to in-service army major, said a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the military’s public relations wing.
According to ISPR, the major was accused of misusing his authorities. Court-martial of the major was held over the allegations, it added.
The military media wing stated that Pakistan Army has strong and powerful accountability process.
