Tragic end of missing Chinese national from Islamabad
*ISLAMABAD - Tragic end of missing Chinese national from Islamabad as his dead body has been recovered.*
*The body of Li Jinqiang, a Chinese national who disappeared from an Islamabad supermarket on April 15, has been found in drain in Iqbal Town, police said Friday.*
The police said that there were bruises on his head. His body has been taken to a polyclinic for an autopsy.
Mr Jinqiang came to Pakistan a month ago, the officials said. One of his friends lodged a complaint in Kohsar police station after he went missing on April 15.
The complaint said that Jinqiang didn’t know the local language and had no cell phone. He, however, had a passport and money.
Police officials said that his body would be sent to China after completing medico-legal formalities.
