Mohammad Amir reacts over his exclusion from World Cup squad

ISLAMABAD - Fast bowler Mohammad Amir has reacted over his exclusion from World Cup squad.

His poor form has ruled him out of Pakistan’s preliminary World Cup squad. He paved the way for the 18-year-old paceman Mohammad Hasnain.

However, Amir has been given one last chance to prove his form, and thus he will travel with the team to feature in the five-match ODI series against England starting in May.

While many of his supporters say that he’s an integral part of the WC squad, others put statistics above the favoritism, supporting the selection team’s decision.

Others believe his selection for the England series is a chance for the talented left-arm quick to prove his worth, just like he always did in the past.

Amir’s first reaction to the team management’s selection was no different. He showed no regret; instead, he was grateful to be given a chance for England series.

The 27-year-old bowler supported the Pakistan Cricket team and wished them luck for the mega event.
