PML-N workers take to streets after SC verdict

LAHORE (APP): After pronouncement of the Supreme Court verdict on Thursday, Pakistan Muslim League-N workers took to the city streets, raising slogans in favour of Prime Minister, Muhammed Nawaz Sharif.

While welcoming the court verdict, the activists danced to the drum beats and showered rose-petals on the party leaders leading the groups.

They termed the decision a victory of PML-N's principled stand.

Various gatherings of the activists were held at Lalak Chowk, Lahore Press Club, Gulshan-e-Ravi, Johar Town and Liberty Chowk.

PML-N leaders including Khawaja Ahmed Hassaan, Khawaja Salman Rafique, Bilal Yaseen, Rana Mashhood, advisor to chief minister Baqir Hussain distributed sweets among the public.

A large number of party activists also gathered at PML-N offices in the city and stayed there till late in the evening.
