WASHINGTON - US top envoy Zalmay Khalilzad to testify closed doors before Congress over Afghanistan.
The US Special Representative for Afghanistan Reconciliation Zalmay Khalilzad who negotiated with the Taliban will testify behind closed doors to Congress today.
The House of Representatives´ Foreign Affairs Committee issued a subpoena to force him to appear after it complained about being kept in the dark over the negotiating process.
