KARACHI - Twenty-six officials of the Karachi Municipal Corporation’s city warden department have been removed from service.
Officials said the wardens were sacked on account of long unauthorised absence from duty; however, sources say the action was taken over staffers’ connection with MQM London group.
The wardens were dismissed on the directives of Karachi Mayor Waseem Akhtar.
