Indian Forces crack down against pro freedom protestors in IOK

ISLAMABAD (APP): Several people were injured in recent action of Indian forces on protesters at Manzgam area of Kulgam district in Indian occupied Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, People in Kulgam district while defying curfew and other restrictions came out in the streets and staged anti-India and pro-freedom rallies.
The Indian forces used force on the protesters, which resulting into injuries to many.Some critically injured were shifted to the hospital.
A large number of troops cordoned off Bandipora town to foil an anti-India march towards local Eidgah in the town. People from many areas of the district started marching raising pro-freedom and anti-India slogans to attend the freedom rally.
Meanwhile, life remained crippled throughout the valley as authorities continued to put restrictions in place to curb protests and rallies in the territory.

The authorities imposed curfew in south district of Shopian ahead of a march towards the town.The authorities announced the imposition of curfew through loudspeakers at 5:30 am following which a large number of men in uniform was deployed in the town including army.
All shops, business establishments, educational institutions majority of government offices and banks were closed in the valley.
