British parliamentarians have expressed serious concern over the human rights abuses by Indian troops in Occupied Kashmir.
Addressing international Kashmir Conference held in British Parliament, the lawmakers strongly condemned the draconian clampdown in Indian Occupied Kashmir and pushed for the right of self-determination for the Kashmiris.
Labour Party’s deputy leader Tom Watson affirmed support to the Kashmiris while MP Byrne dismissed India’s stance that the matter was a bilateral issue.
They said India must end the lockdown and it is time the Kashmir dispute be resolved in accordance with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
