US top General in Afghanistan responds over reports that he was the target of the deadly Taliban attack

KABUL - US Gen. Scott Miller, the top NATO commander in Afghanistan has responded over the reports that he was the target of the deadly Taliban attack

He said that he did not believe he was the target of an insider attack that killed the police chief of Kandahar but left him uninjured.

“My assessment is that I was not the target. It was a very close confined space. But I don’t assess that I was the target,” Miller told Afghanistan’s Tolo News TV in an interview.
