US Jerusalem consulate merger draws Palestinian anger

The United States says it will place its main diplomatic mission to the Palestinians under the authority of its embassy in Israel.
Palestinians on the other hand say this move could be seen as American recognition of Israeli control over the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem.
They believe, it is the continuity of President Trump's decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital.
