Nawaz Sharif given 24 hours deadline

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif has been given 24 hours deadline in Al Azizia Reference.

He on Monday sought more time from accountability court to answer last four questions.

As the hearing went underway, the former premier stated that he wanted to hold consultation with his legal counsel Khawaja Haris over last four questions. To this, the court gave Sharif deadline till November-20.

In the upcoming proceedings, Sharif would answer ‘why case has been made against him.’ Thus far, the supremo had answered 148 questions.

Earlier, Nawaz Sharif on Monday has requested the court to dismiss the statements recorded by Panama Joint Investigation Team (JIT).
