CTD kill 8 Al Qaeda terrorists in Multan

MULTAN: 8 terrorists including their key commanders were killed here at Wednesday night by Counter Terrorism Department near Chenab river, Multan.
As per details, Counter Terrorism Department Personnel conducted raid on intelligence information near Chenab river where terrorists started indiscriminate firing on CTD Personnel while in response CTD also opened fire and killed 8 terrorists.
CTD officials revealed that the dead terrorists had links with banned outfit Al-Qaeda and they were planning to attack on Multan University. Al-Qaeda key commanders were also among the dead terrorists who had been identified as Muneeb Javed, Tyyab Nawaz, Razzaq, Zeeshan and Abu Dajana.
Huge cache of arms and explosive material was also recovered from their possession which includes 2 suicide jackets, 2 Kalashnikovs, 2 pistols, several rifles and 3 hand grenades.
CTD officials further added that during the operation 6 accomplices of dead terrorists managed to escape the scene taking advantage of darkness and search operations are being conducted for their arrest.
