Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has said the government will file a legal case in Iran against U.S. officials who imposed sanctions on the country.
Iranian President in a televised speech said U.S. sanctions have created difficulties and are crime against humanity.
He said case will be filed as a precursor to action in international courts.
Earlier, the United States reimpose sanctions on Tehran after U.S. President Donald Trump chose last May to abandon 2015 nuclear accord with Iran negotiated with five other world powers.
Iranian central bank governor Abdolnaser Hemmati also accused US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and other U.S. officials of waging a psychological war to stir panic in the currency market.
