Peshawar Rapid Bus Project: 400 Buses to ply on 28 km route

Asian Development Bank (ADB) will provide forty-two billion rupees for construction of Rapid Bus Transit System in Peshawar.

This was stated by Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak while presiding over a meeting in Peshawar on Monday.

Pervez Khattak said the provincial government will bear seven and half billion rupees in the project.

He said four hundred air-conditioned buses will ply on twenty-eight kilometer long route from Chamkani Interchange to Hayatabad.

The Chief Minister said the project on completion will facilitate five hundred thousand commuters and solve the traffic problems of Peshawar city.
