Shehbaz has rejected Nawaz’s ‘khalai makhlooq’ narrative, claims Qureshi

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Vice-Chairperson Shah Mahmood Qureshi has claimed that PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif has rejected his brother Nawaz Sharif’s narrative that the establishment is secretly victimising the party by meddling in politics.

Qureshi asserted that after Nawaz’s arrest, Shehbaz has been following his own policy in the PML-N, which he called a 'big change'.

“I have seen a major change in the PML-N. Shehbaz Sharif has fired his social media team, including Maryam Aurangzaib, who were propagating the narrative of ‘khalai makhlooq’ [establishment],” Qureshi told the media.

“Shehbaz Sharif has rejected Nawaz Sharif’s narrative. He says ‘I’m the party president, you have to follow my policy’, so this PML-N narrative has collapsed,” Qureshi claimed.

“Shehbaz Sharif wants development work to be highlighted, not the ‘khalai makhlooq’ narrative.” APP
