ANP senior leader gunned down in KPK

SWABI: Former MPA and senior leader of the Awami National Party (ANP) Haji Shoaib Khan was shot dead by some unidentified armed men in Yarhussain area today morning.
According to police sources, unknown armed motorcycle riders opened indiscriminate firing on Haji Shoaib Khan, when he was present at his hujra in Yarhussain village of Tehsil Chota Lahor in Swabi. As a result of firing Shoaib Khan sustained multiple injuries and was shifted to LRH in Peshawar, in critical condition where he succumbed to his wounds.
Police said apparently it was an incident of targeted attack. Police has registered FIR and launched raids to nab the attackers.
