US has sent a strict message to Pakistan over Hafiz Saeed: US State Department

WASHINGTON: The spokesperson for the US Department of State, Heather Nauert has said that Pakistan knows the US reservations over Hafiz Saeed and adding that Pakistan should prosecute the mastermind of Mumbai attacks.
This she said while talking to media persons on Friday morning and accused that Hafiz Saeed is the real mastermind behind the Mumbai attacks in 2008.
She added that the US has sent a message to Islamabad to conduct strict action against Hafiz Saeed.
The designated terrorist should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of law, she added.
The United Nations sanctioned Saeed over his role in terrorist outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba, which was allegedly responsible for carrying out the Mumbai attacks in 2008 that killed 166 people.
The US also desires the Lashkar-e-Taiba be labeled a terrorist organization internationally.
