Imran Khan happy with KPK govt over another achievement
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan criticized the federal government for failing to implement National Action Plan (NAP).
Resorting to micro-blogging website, Imran Khan congratulated over its achievement of yet ‘another first for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’ i.e. amendment of the Civil Procedure Code done in consultation with the Peshawar High Court (PHC).
The PTI chief tweets, “I want to congratulate the KP govt for achieving another first for the province: the amendment of the Civil Procedure Code done in consultation with the PHC mandating the courts to decide civil cases within 1 yr plus a host of reforms to update existing archaic laws and practices.”
Imran Khan also said the provincial government had sent the Federal government the recommendations to amend the criminal procedure code.
He added the reform of criminal judicial system was an integral part of NAP but so far the federal government has failed to move on this critical issue.
