Government has taken steps to bring improvement in energy sector: Miftah

Advisor to the Prime Minister on Economic Affairs Miftah Ismail says the government has taken steps to bring improvement in energy sector which would help boost economy.
In an interview, he said taxes have been increased to avoid seeking help from IMF.
The Advisor said there is need to achieve seven to eight percent GDP growth rate.
Commenting on China Pakistan Economic Corridor projects, he said Chinese are making heavy investment in Pakistan which would have positive impact on the national economy.
