A new alliance in offing
ISLAMABAD - Former president and co-chairman of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Fazlur Rehman have contemplated joining forces against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province for Senate elections.
Pakistan People’s Party has ramped-up party’s organisation in KP province against the government of PTI for upcoming Senate elections.
Reportedly, JUI-F chief Fazlur Rehman and Zardari convened a meeting in Bilawal House and discussed possible alliance against PTI.
The two leaders contemplated joining forces with other opposition parties in KP.
