Pakistan fully support UN initiatives for peace: PM

Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif says Pakistan fully supports the United Nations initiatives for sustainable peace in the world.
He was talking to United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres at the sidelines of World Economic Forum in Davos on Thursday.
The Prime Ministers aid that Pakistan is committed for durable peace in the region.
He said that peaceful neighbourhood is the first priority of the government.
He said Pakistan has invited India for dialogue for the solution of all outstanding issues including Kashmir.
He said that India did not respond to Pakistan's sincere offers. He also highlighted the Indian violations of the Indus Water Treaty signed between the two countries in 1960.
The Prime Minister said that resolution of all outstanding issues between Pakistan and India including the core issue of Kashmir is imperative for durable peace in the south Asia. He said that peace in the region is in the best interest of the people of the region.
He said that that Kashmir issue is at the agenda of the United Nations Security Council.
He said UN should play its due role for the solution of the Kashmir issue.
Nawaz Sharif congratulated Antonio Guterres on assuming the charge of United Nations Secretary General and invited him to visit Pakistan.
