Crown prince honors Pakistani hero by directing to set-up health center named after him in KP

To honour a Pakistani hero who died saving flood victims in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman directed during his Pakistan visit to establish a health center in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) after the hero’s name.

Farman Ali Khan, a Pakistani, died while saving 14 people in a flood that swept the city of Jeddah in 2009. Farman has been awarded Order of King Abdulaziz, the highest Saudi civil award for his heroic act during the floods. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has already named one of its street in Jeddah after Farman.

The crown prince , also known as MBS, issued the directives while in Pakistan to setup a health center after him, which emphasis the humanitarian relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan at all levels.

MBS departed from Pakistan on Monday evening after a successful maiden visit. During his stay in Pakistan, the two countries signed seven Memorandum of Understandings for Saudi investment in different sectors in the Pakistan.  On Prime Minister Imran Khan’s especial request, the Saudi prince also ordered the immediate release of 2,107 Pakistani prisoners in Saudi jails.
