US drone strike in Afghanistan kills 8 Taliban members

KABUL - Farah officials said the insurgents were killed in a drone strike against a drug factory in the province.
*At least eight Taliban insurgents were killed in a drone strike in western Farah province on Sunday, local officials confirmed on Monday.*
The strike took place in Bala Bolok district of the province after a drone targeted a drug factory belonging to the Taliban, officials said.
However, officials did not provide further details.
The Taliban has not yet commented.
