LAHORE:Pak India Business Council (PIBC) have stressed the need for resolving all outstanding issues between India and Pakistan through dialogue.
Presiding over PIBC's executive committee meeting here on Sunday, chairman Noor Muhammad Kasuri said that few months were left in general election in Pakistan and following it, the election process would start in India and then there would be new governments in both the countries.
"The new governments may take time for practical steps towards resolving issues between both the countries, therefore it is best time for both the sides to find out solutions through dialogue", Kasuri said.
He said that present leaderships of both the countries were mature enough to understand depth of the issues, therefore, they could perform well in finding out best possible solutions to these issues.
He said that now time had come that both the nations should pay their full attention towards resolving their disputes through dialogue and divert their resources towards welfare of their masses.
He said the PIBC was striving hard for improvement of regional trade between India and Pakistan for many decades despite all odds.
The PIBC chairman further said that the PIBC would continue its efforts for the promotion of Pak-India trade.APP/AFPPak
